Perhaps someone is feeling sinful in Las Vegas, after all.
A report published on Pro Football Talk, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, postulates that there may be some issues between Raiders owner Mark Davis and proposed partner for a Vegas Stadium Sheldon Adelson.
The source said that “The past two weeks have been particularly difficult for Davis and Adelson,” with the report adding that there is still belief that a deal will be struck.
Adelson, known as a hard-lining businessman who will grind down his partners and opponents, may be vying for more team control than Davis is hoping to give up.
Meanwhile, officials in Oakland and Alameda County are holding a public hearing on Tuesday regarding a separate plan that hopes to keep the Raiders in their current home city. A vote is scheduled for shortly thereafter.
