A 22-year-old San Francisco man and two other people who died at a festival in Southern California over the summer all died of drug overdoses, the San Bernardino County coroner’s office announced this week.
Derek Lee died on July 31 after attending the HARD Summer Music Festival that had taken place on July 30 and 31 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Alyssa Dominguez, 21, of San Diego, and Roxanne Ngo, 22, of Chino Hills, also died after attending the festival.
The coroner’s office announced Tuesday that all three died of accidental acute MDMA toxicity.
Sheriff’s officials had said following the deaths that they were not believed to be related.
