Arent Daniel Julius Bradt, 33, of Port Huron, Michigan, was arrested after Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies responded to an assault in the 16000 block of state Highway 128 between Geyserville and Calistoga around 3 p.m. Thursday, sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Crum said.
Cesar Gonzalez-Rivas, 40, was found injured outside a residence there. Medical aid was provided but Gonzalez-Rivas died of his injuries, Crum said. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
Bradt’s arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The sheriff’s office has not released any other information about the homicide.
