A driver of a United States Postal Service truck suffered major injuries when his vehicle overturned Friday morning in Millbrae, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
CHP officials received a report of the crash at 6:59 a.m. on the Millbrae Avenue off-ramp from southbound U.S. Highway 101.
CHP spokesman Officer Art Montiel said the driver suffered moderate head injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The driver is a Union City man in his early 60s. He lost control of truck and it fell on its side, Montiel said.
Traffic was not been affected much because of the holiday weekend.
The off-ramp was closed but reopened around 2:00 p.m. after crews moved the mail from one truck to another, CHP officials said.
No other vehicles were involved.
