Police search for armed robbery suspect

A resident was confronted at about 2 a.m. in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue by a man with a gun.
The suspect brandished the gun and demanded the victim’s wallet and cellphone, which he took by force, according to police.
Police are describing the suspect as a man in his late 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build and a goatee.
Police said the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
The gun was black in color.
