Sutter Pacific opens new care center in Mission

Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation opened a new care center in San Francisco’s Mission District on Monday, Sutter officials said.

The foundation, which is part of the non-profit Sutter Health network, will offer primary care services to adults and children at 899 Valencia St., at 20th Street.

The facility will also offer access to specialty physicians, lab and x-ray services and an integrative medicine team, including a chiropractor, acupuncturist, massage therapist and nutritionist, officials said.

To celebrate the care center’s opening, the foundation’s Institute for Health and Healing will offer free nutrition counseling and chair massages through the end of the year.

“We are looking forward to providing exceptional care to people in this vibrant neighborhood and increasing access to local healthcare,” SPMF chief executive Toni Brayer said in a statement.

“Our goal is to customize care to the needs of our patients and families,” Brayer said.
