A woman was struck and seriously injured by a car in a hit-and-run in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to police.
The hit-and-run was reported at 4:41 a.m. in the 4000 block of Mission Street.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was in an argument with the suspect, who got into a brown Buick and drove away south on Mission Street before making a U-turn. The suspect then struck the victim, who had stepped out into the street, police said.
The suspect continued north in the Buick and remains at large today. More details about the suspect and vehicle were not immediately available.
The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
