Hwy 101 lanes reopen after pedestrian death

All lanes on U.S. Highway 101 near San Francisco International Airport have reopened since a pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday morning, California Highway Patrol officers said.

The incident was reported at around 1:08 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 just north of the SFO off-ramp.

A Sig-alert was issued at 1:25 a.m. when CHP officers closed the highway’s third, fourth and fifth lanes.

No further information was immediately available.
