Foggy conditions at San Francisco International Airport Monday morning have caused 132 flight delays and five cancellations, an airport duty manager said.
The delays for both incoming and outgoing flights are averaging 91 minutes. They started at 7 a.m. and are expected to continue into the afternoon as a result of low clouds and fog covering the airport, duty manager Cathy Morrison said.
The foggy conditions around the Bay Area have not resulted in widespread delays for flights at the region’s other two large airports in Oakland and San Jose, airport officials said.
