The San Francisco Department of Elections is preparing for Tuesday’s general election by preventing election interference, voter intimidation or fraud and helping voters find their polling place.
The department will expand its 20-member phone and email assistance team to 30 on Tuesday in order to field calls from voters requesting the location of their polling place, department officials said Sunday.
The department can be reached at (415) 554-4375 or sfvote@sfgov.org.
The department also provides a Polling Place and Sample Ballot Lookup Tool for voters to confirm their polling place’s address. This tool can be found on sfelections.org under “Key Election Links.”
The department has also reminded the public that electioneering within 100 feet of a polling place and exit polling within 25 feet are illegal.
Anyone who witnesses election interference, voter intimidation or fraud has been asked to call the district attorney’s office’s Election Fraud Hotline at (415) 551-9507.
