SF skateboarder seriously harmed in SUV collision

A boy on a skateboard suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday night in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood, police said.

The boy and a Honda SUV collided at about 8 p.m. at 22nd Avenue and Ulloa Street as the boy was riding south on 22nd Avenue and the SUV was traveling west on Ulloa Street.

The boy is a San Francisco resident. He was taken to a hospital.

Two other teenagers on skateboards were not injured.

The driver of the SUV stopped and cooperated with police. Officers said it doesn’t appear that drugs or alcohol played a part in the collision.

Anyone with more information about the collision is asked to call the Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444 or get in touch with police by sending a text to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
