Two people escaped injury after their car went into the San Francisco Bay Saturday evening in San Francisco’s Treasure Island, according to a fire spokesman.
Around 8:20 p.m., firefighters and police responded to a report of a car going into the water near Avenue N and Third Street on Treasure Island, San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Baxter said.
Two occupants inside the car were able to safely get out of the car, according to Baxter.
They pair was not injured, but they were taken to a hospital as a precaution, Baxter said.
Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
