A 3-year-year old girl drowned Saturday afternoon in her family’s above-ground swimming pool, a Napa County sheriff’s lieutenant said.
The drowning happened in the 2200 block of Kathleen Drive in unincorporated Napa, sheriff’s Lt. John Crawford said.
The girl’s mother found her daughter in the pool around 3:30 p.m., about two hours after she had put her to bed for a nap, Crawford said.
