A pedestrian was hospitalized Monday morning after a car struck her near the Caltrain station in San Francisco, according to police.
At 10:22 a.m., police responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian near Fourth and Townsend streets, police spokeswoman Officer Giselle Talkoff said.
The victim had somehow become trapped underneath the vehicle, according to Talkoff.
Emergency crews were able to get her out from underneath the car and transported her to a hospital, Talkoff said.
Information about the extent of her injuries was not immediately available.
