3.5 earthquake strikes near Piedmont

A magnitude-3.5 earthquake struck near Piedmont Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 12:50 a.m. roughly two miles east-southeast of Piedmont at a recorded depth of 2.98 miles.
