Female motorcyclist hurt in Pacific Heights crash

A woman riding a motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood Monday night, police said.

The 28-year-old woman was riding west on California Street just after 9:30 p.m. when she collided with an eastbound vehicle turning left onto Laguna Street, according to police.

The motorcyclist suffered broken bones and a traumatic brain injury and was rushed to a hospital, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 63-year-old man, was not injured in the collision.

No arrest has been reported in the case as of this morning, according to police.
