Police seek robbers who assaulted USF student

Police are asking for the public’s help to find three suspects who allegedly trespassed onto the University of San Francisco campus and stole a laptop before assaulting and robbing two students last month, police said Friday.

The robbery occurred July 26, around 9 a.m., when the suspects entered a university building in the 2400 block of Golden Gate Avenue, according to police.

The trio took a laptop from the university’s Fromm Hall. Two of the three then entered the University Center Building where they punched two students in the face, taking a backpack and a cellphone, police said.

The trio then fled on foot, heading eastbound on Fulton Street, according to police.

One of the victims suffered a nasal fracture as a result of the attack, police said.

She reportedly walked with a pigeon toed gait, according to police.

The second suspect was described as a black man, between 20 and 25 years old, 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a two-tone blue sweater, jeans, a Nike watch cap with a “swoosh” on the front, and a dark backpack with orange stripes.
