A crash on U.S. Highway 101 in San Carlos turned fatal Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 8:25 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 at the Whipple Avenue off-ramp.
At least one vehicle was involved, and at least one person died as a result of the crash. Further details were not immediately available.
