A woman robbed a bank inside a Fremont grocery store on Monday afternoon, police said.
A robbery alarm was triggered at about 4 p.m. at the U.S. Bank inside the Safeway store at 46848 Mission Blvd. in the city’s Warm Springs area, police said.
A woman told a bank teller that she had a gun and demanded cash, according to police.
As of this evening investigators are still looking for the woman.
She is described as a white woman between 30 and 35 years old standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavyset with blonde hair and red highlights.
During the robbery was wearing a gray sweater, a white shirt, black and white striped leggings and black sunglasses.
