Shooter sprays gunfire at Morgan Hill cars

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred late Saturday night in Morgan Hill.

According to police, officers responded to 17305 Monterey Road at 11:15 p.m. on reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, witnesses told officers a man had fired a gun towards a group of vehicles and was last seen running south on Monterey Road toward 5th Street.

Police said the suspect was described as a white man, five feet 10 inches, wearing a black baseball cap, dark sweatshirt, red shirt, dark pants and white shoes.
