Man found stabbed to death near San Jose park

A man was found stabbed to death this morning in San Jose, police said.

Officers responded at 9:51 a.m. to the 400 block of North First Street where they found a man with at least one stab wound.

He was pronounced dead there, according to police.

The motive and circumstances of the death are under investigation.

The man’s name will be released once the coroner has identified him and his family has been notified, police said.
