Warriors re-sign Ian Clark

Guard Ian Clark may one of only two or three returning bench players for the Warriors.

Golden State announced a pact between team and player late Friday afternoon, and the 25-year-old who averaged nine minutes per game off the bench last season will again try to earn his keep.

Perhaps what put Clark above others on the re-sign priority list was his postseason performance, where he averaged 4.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and one assist over 9.6 minutes during 16 playoff appearances.

Clark was the final man to make the Warriors roster out of training camp prior to the 2015 season opener, and was an impressive cog off the bench at times, though he logged the majority of his minutes during blowout wins during the first 50 games of the regular season.

Golden State is down to only a few remaining roster spots to fill and could have a solidified bench before next Friday.
