Firefighters from multiple East Bay agencies contained a grass fire Thursday afternoon on Grizzly Peak, in the hills near Berkeley and Oakland.
The fire was reported in the area of Fish Ranch Road and Grizzly Peak Boulevard at 4:25 p.m., according to a dispatcher for the Oakland Fire Department.
The fire was contained at one acre around 4:55 p.m., according to the Moraga-Orinda Fire District.
Firefighters from Berkeley, Oakland and Cal Fire also responded to the incident.
No injuries were reported. Information about the cause of the fire was not immediately available.
