A man was found fatally stabbed in front of a Sonoma County Department of Health Services building in Santa Rosa early Monday morning, according to police.
Officers responded at 12:55 a.m. to a report of a man down in front of 418 Riley St., the address of offices for the department’s Public Health Division.
The victim, a local transient whose name is not yet being released, was found on the sidewalk dead from apparent stab wounds, police said.
No arrests have been made in the case and no suspect information was immediately available.
