Three injured in violent weekend at Grizzly Peak

For the second time in two days, a person was injured on Grizzly Peak in Berkeley, University of California police said.

Early Sunday morning, between 3:39 a.m. and 4:09 a.m. a group of people were at either Turnout 15 or 16 on Grizzly Peak Boulevard when an argument broke out between the group and three male suspects.

A male from the group was hit with an object and taken to a hospital, according to police.

Overnight on Saturday morning, two men suffered minor injuries at the hands of three robbers who stole the property of the two and a third victim as they were enjoying the view from Signpost 15.

The robbery was reported at 4:28 a.m., about an hour after the robbery occurred, police said.

Two of the three suspects each pointed a gun at the victims who turned over their property at the demands of the robbers.

The robbers fled toward Signpost 16, according to police.
