PG&E crews are working to restore power in Sunnyvale this morning, after an outage left thousands in the area without power.
The outage was first reported at 7:37 a.m. and initially affected about 4,100 customers, according to PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi.
As of 9:30 a.m., more than half of those customers have had their power restored with only 1,956 customers left without power, Guidi said.
Crews are working toward determining a cause for the outage.
Because a cause has not yet been found, an estimated time for when the power would be restored has not been determined, according to Guidi.
