One injured, three arrested in Concord shooting

Police arrested three people after a man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon in Concord with a gunshot wound.
At 4:56 p.m., officers responded to Richard and Westgate avenues for a report of gunshots heard in the area, according to police.
Upon arrival, officers learned a man had been taken to the hospital after being shot, police said.
After obtaining information about the suspects and their vehicle, officers were able to locate a vehicle matching the description near Meadow Lane, according to police.
Officers then initiated a traffic stop.
Three male suspects inside the vehicle were taken into custody.
Their identities have not been released.
The victim is expected to survive, police said.
