Police on Friday arrested four men and a youth after they allegedly stole $4,700 of Red Bull from at least one grocery store in Vacaville and other stores in the Bay Area, police said.
Ronnie Yarbrough, 30, Torn Saelee, 19, Jafar Neal, 29, and Jabari Neal, 29, all of Oakland, were arrested after officers responded at 7:33 p.m. to a Safeway store at 2090 Harbison Drive.
Police said the five suspects were seen at Safeway rolling a cart of Red Bull out of the store and loading it into a U-Haul truck.
Allegedly, the driver sped out of the store parking lot, ran a stop sign and a red light and drove onto Interstate Highway 80.
An officer spotted and stopped the truck and the four men were arrested and booked into the county jail. The youth was taken to juvenile hall, police said.
Yarbrough was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, violating probation and driving on a suspended license.
Saelee and the two Neals were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy, according to police.
