A man allegedly attacked and threatened a BART station agent in Concord.
A man grabbed a BART station agent’s face and threatened to hurt him after the agent asked him to pay his fare to enter the Concord station Saturday morning, BART police said.
The station agent asked the man to pay when he tried to enter the station around 7 a.m. The man became upset and walked up to the agent, grabbed his face and threatened to break his jaw, police said.
Officers responded to the station and found the man on the platform. The man was escorted to a patrol car without incident, but once in the car he became resistant and refused to identify himself, police said.
Officers put him in a restraint and took him to county jail where he was booked as “John Doe,” according to police.
