The Warriors came through in the clutch to force a Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
With 90 seconds left, the Warriors ensured there would be a Game 7.
After knotting the score at 99 on a Stephen Curry 3-pointer, Klay Thompson sunk another, and ultimately the dagger in Golden State’s 108-101 victory over the Thunder.
The Warriors entered the night down 3-2 in a best of seven series, and were near the end. The win Saturday, though, ensures a winner take all Game 7, at Oracle Arena on Monday evening.
Klay Thompson was the catalyst for the Warriors, setting an NBA playoff record with 11 3-pointers, and scored 41 points — the most for a Warriors player this postseason.
Oklahoma City kept a tight hold on the lead for the bulk of the game, with the Warriors going blow for blow at the same time, and the Dubs might have lost if not for Curry’s clutch shot.
Curry scored 29 points on the evening, and Draymond Green added 14 points to go with 12 rebounds.
Thunder star Kevin Durant scored 29 points.
The Warriors are now the 31st team to force a Game 7 in a playoff series after going down 3-1. Curry also hit his 200th postseason 3-pointer, joining an exclusive club with only 13 other members.
