Human torso found on rocks near Bay Bridge

A human torso was discovered on rocks near the Bay Bridge in West Oakland this afternoon, according to police.

The discovery was reported shortly after noon off of Burma Road near the foot of the eastern span of the bridge, police said.

No other information about the incident was immediately available from Oakland police.
