A black bear paid a visit Friday morning to the North Alamo Drive neighborhood of Vacaville.
Police responded but the bear eluded the officers, Sgt. J. Johnson said.
The bear’s 7:30 a.m. visit was captured on Instagram. The video shows a bear running down a court and scaling a fence into a backyard.
There were no reports of injuries to people, pets or property other than claw marks on a fence, Johnson said.
Police advised residents not to confront the bear if it returns but to instead call police.
