At least 25 people have been displaced after fire broke out at an Antioch apartment complex earlier this morning.

The fire was first reported around 7:15 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Lone Tree Way, according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw five apartments fully involved in flames, as well as many bystanders, Marshall said.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire within about 30 minutes of arrival, according to Marshall.

Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and one of the two was eventually taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, Marshall said.
