Police are investigating the discovery of a female body floating in a duck pond at a park in Concord early Monday morning.
According to police, the woman’s body was discovered at 2:36 a.m. near the edge of the pond at Newhall Community Park near the Boxer Boulevard entrance.
Police said the investigation into the death is ongoing and no additional information, including the victim’s name, is immediately being released.
