Police are investigating an alleged gang-related shooting Sunday night in Watsonville that sent a man to the hospital.
Around 8:50 p.m., officers contacted a 29-year-old man who showed up at Watsonville Community Hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper arm, according to police.
The victim told police he was walking near Pennsylvania Drive and South Green Valley Road when he heard five gunshots. The man realized he had been shot and then walked to the hospital, police said.
The victim told police he did not see who shot him and did not know if the suspects were on foot or in a vehicle.
Officers searched the area where the shooting allegedly occurred, but were unable to locate any evidence, according to police.
