Teens allegedly rob business at gunpoint

Police arrested three 14-year-old boys early Saturday morning after they allegedly robbed a Fairfield business armed with a gun.

At 2 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business in the 1200 block of Tabor Avenue, according to police.

According to witnesses, three suspects entered the business, all wearing masks, with at least one armed with a handgun, police said.

During the robbery, a vehicle pulled up to the business, interrupting the robbery. The suspects then fled on foot, without taking any money, according to police.

Responding officers circulated around the neighborhood to locate the suspects. In the 500 block of Tabor Avenue, officers located all three suspects.

The trio led officers on a short foot pursuit, however, all three surrendered a short distance away, according to police.

The suspects, all identified as 14-year-old boys, were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit a robbery, police said.

During a search, officers found the suspects to be in possession of masks and at least one replica firearm, according to police.

The three have been booked into Solano County Juvenile Hall.
