BART is experiencing a 10-minute delay this morning on the Richmond line in the Fremont, Richmond and Millbrae directions due to a major medical emergency at the Downtown Berkeley station.
The Downtown Berkeley station is currently closed and trains are not stopping at the station, BART officials said at 10:29 a.m.
Berkeley police confirmed police activity is happening in the area and are asking residents to avoid the area.
No time was given for when the station would reopen.
