Deceased person found outside Oakley fire station

A person who was found dead inside a vehicle this morning in Oakley may have suffered from a pre-existing medical condition, Contra Costa County sheriff’s officials said.

Around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle blocking the driveway of a fire station on O’Hara Avenue, according to the City of Oakley’s Facebook page.

The victim appeared to be the driver of the vehicle and also appeared to have suffered a traumatic injury.

A preliminary investigation, however, did not find any indication of foul play, sheriff’s officials said.
