A man fatally shot at a café in East San Jose on Friday night has been identified as 43-year-old Brian Le, San Jose Police said Thursday.
Le, a San Jose resident, was one of two men struck by gunfire at Bon Mua Café at 1937 Tully Road shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.
The victims were transported to a hospital, where Le was pronounced dead soon after he arrived, Garcia said.
The other victim was in stable condition, according to Garcia.
A preliminary investigation showed the suspect went inside the business, fired multiple shots at the victims with a handgun and then left the scene, Garcia said.
The suspect has not been identified but was described as a male standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, according to Garcia.
The suspect wore a hat, sweatshirt and pants at the time of the shooting, Garcia said.
