A man missing from his Santa Clara home since Tuesday morning was reunited with his family Wednesday night, police said.
Someone saw Esteban Reynaldo, 83, sitting on a bench in front of a Bank of America at the Westfield Valley Fair shopping center at 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Santa Clara at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
When the person returned to the area at 10 p.m., Reynaldo was still there. Concerned about Reynaldo’s safety, the person called police, who identified the man as Reynaldo and reunited him with his family.
Reynaldo had left his home at about 8 a.m. Tuesday and was reported missing by his family when he did not return home later that day. He was considered at-risk because he has dementia and takes medication for high blood pressure, according to police.
