One person reportedly died in a collision near a Martinez elementary school early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP received a report at about 5:30 a.m. that a sedan and a pickup truck crashed at Pacheco Boulevard and Arthur Road, located near Las Juntas Elementary School.
One person involved in the crash was reported as being unresponsive and the CHP has now classified the incident as a fatality.
CHP Officer John Fransen said the crash is still being investigated and he was not immediately able to provide more information.
