Police arrested a juvenile who allegedly pointed a BB gun at a person during a robbery Monday evening in Fremont.
Around 5:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible armed robbery in the 40600 block of Grimmer Boulevard, according to police.
A passerby told police they saw a suspect pointing a gun at another person.
The witness said the suspect then fled in a black BMW 323. The witness was able to provide a partial license plate, police said.
Officers were able to find surveillance images of the suspect vehicle.
Over an hour later, as an officer was clearing the scene he noticed a vehicle that looked like the suspect vehicle.
The officer was able to pull over the vehicle and several occupants inside the BMW were detained, according to police.
After an investigation, officers learned a male juvenile inside the vehicle had robbed marijuana from another person, using a BB gun.
Officers arrested the juvenile on suspicion of robbery, police said.
