Police are asking for the public’s help locating a juvenile who went missing earlier Monday in Union City.
The girl was last seen around 11 a.m. leaving James Logan High School, located at 34200 Alvarado-Niles Road, according to police.
The juvenile’s family has requested that her name and age be withheld, Sgt. Paul Kanazeh said.
Police said she’s considered at-risk because she was reportedly distressed about an incident that occurred over the weekend.
The girl is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build and weighing about 125 pounds. She was wearing a yellow sweater and black pants and has black shoulder-length hair with pink ends.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Union City Police Department at (510) 471-1365.
