San Francisco International Airport officials are reporting both delays and cancellations this morning at the airport because of wind and weather.
The airport reported the delays on Twitter at 10:11 a.m.
Airport spokesman Doug Yakel said the delays are 15 to 30 minutes in length, but cancellations are the more significant problem. Thirty-five arrivals and 35 departures are canceled.
Most of the cancellations are on short-haul commuter flights along the West Coast to places such as Los Angeles and Portland.
Yakel suggested travelers get in touch with their airline to see whether their flight has been canceled.
He said airlines consolidate and cancel flights to reduce delays. Overlooking parking areas south of Sloat will be closed, but the parking lot at Sloat will remain open.
