Richmond police officer gunned down in Vallejo

An off-duty Richmond police officer was fatally shot in Vallejo this morning, a police lieutenant said.

Richmond police Lt. Andre Hill said more information about the shooting would be released later this morning.

Vallejo police had cordoned off Narragansett Court in the city’s Glen Cove neighborhood but were also not immediately releasing any more information about the case.
