A woman was attacked Wednesday afternoon at San Francisco’s Twin Peaks by two robbers armed with pepper spray, according to police.
The 53-year-old woman was walking down the hill from Twin Peaks around 3:50 p.m. when a man in his 20s approached her and sprayed her in the face with pepper spray, police said.
A second suspect, a woman in her 20s, then ran up and grabbed the victim’s purse, which contained cash and credit cards.
The two suspects fled in a waiting vehicle, described as a black four-door sedan, and remain at large this morning, police said.
The victim declined medical treatment after the attack.
