A 21-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Mission District on Sunday night, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 10:06 p.m. in the 2000 block of Harrison Street.
Officers responded and found the victim nearby at the southwest corner of 19th Street and Treat Avenue. She was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds to her legs, injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
A witness said two vehicles were involved in the shooting, a blue four-door Lexus 400 and a two-door white vehicle, according to police.
No arrests have been made in the case and no other suspect information was immediately available. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message with “SFPD” in the message.
