Victim robbed of electric skateboard

A man was walking home near the University of San Francisco early Tuesday morning when he was attacked and robbed of his electric skateboard, police said.

At about 1:25 a.m., the 23-year-old victim was walking near the intersection of Golden Gate Avenue and Arguello Boulevard when a car pulled up next to him, according to San Francisco police.

The car, described as a gray older-model Volkswagen, came to a stop with two suspects inside, both described as men between 18 and 22 years old.

One suspect got out of the car and approached the victim, punched him in the face and stole his electric skateboard, police said.

The suspects drove away in the vehicle and have not yet been identified, police said.

Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
