Power restored at SF State after outage

Power has been restored on the campus of San Francisco State University Tuesday morning, a PG&E spokeswoman said.

The outage was reported at 9:50 a.m. and at one point affected 2,500 residents and businesses on and around the campus, PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said.

PG&E crews got the power back on about an hour later. The cause of the outage remains under investigation but it was possibly weather-related, Sarkissian said.
