A woman died this morning in Oakland as she was walking across International Boulevard, police said.
Officers were dispatched at about 7:50 a.m. to the 5700 block of International Boulevard, according to police.
Officers learned that a vehicle traveling east on International Boulevard struck the woman in a crosswalk, police said.
Paramedics took the woman to a hospital where she died, according to police.
No one else was injured, police said.
The driver did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
